Clinical Psychology

Choosing the right therapist to work with can be a challenge. Research indicates that it is the quality of the relationship between the client and the therapist which most predicts therapy success.

I believe that what makes me stand out as a therapist is my genuine warmth and compassion for people, my extensive knowledge concerning a wide range of personal and relational issues, and my ability to provide therapy that is both empathic and pragmatic.

I have been licensed as a clinical psychologist for over twelve years, having worked in diverse clinical settings and populations.

My current fee is $150 per 50 minute session.  I can also offer a sliding scale if necessary.

I am not on any insurance panels, but I do accept insurance as an "out-of-network provider."

Social Coaching

Whether you have a fear of speaking with strangers, or are uncomfortable at a crowded party, or feel unsure how to keep a conversation flowing, welcome to the twenty first century!

Social discomfort and anxiety is becoming ever more common as our modern world continues to evolve.

Though living in dense urban environments, many feel lonely even though one is surrounded by people. And, if you have had a bad experience trying to meet new people, then you may have already told yourself that you are not good at socializing.

My job is to show you that this is not the case.

What makes social coaching different, and therefore effective, is its hands-on approach.

You can become more confident and secure with yourself in any new social situation that you choose to attend. Upon completion of this program you will definitely know more about yourself.

My intention is that you will be able to use this knowledge to better navigate the social environment surrounding us here in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Whether your desire is to feel comfortable striking up a conversation with the person sitting next to you, asking someone out on a date, or joining a new group or activity, you can achieve your goals. My hope is that we might actually enjoy the process along the way.
